Firework Night

Have a safe one.
Had to drag Megan out of bed this morning…she didn’t want to leave
her new bedroom. I suppose I should be pleased really!!
The hard work put in by Megan, Daddy and Mummy has been worthwhile.
Megan’s pleased with it and thats the important thing.
Meg’s purple desk….
Daddy’s twinkling star creation….
Meg’s chilling out hideaway….
Finished painting Meg’s bedroom at last.
We had a quick trip to Ikea for the finishing bits…and a hotdog
of course. We managed to get her desk…which had to be purple
and a few more bits, then back to Stockport for carpet. This
proved more of a problem as Megan really wanted a purple one but
her room could not take no more purple! She was very begrudgingly
persuaded to get a different colour.
Hopefully it will all be over tomorrow.
Happy Halloween
We took Megan, Jamie and their friends, Robyn and Tayla to the
Wacky Warehouse for a spooky party. They had a brilliant time
playing on the climbing frame, taking part in the fancy dress
competition, playing games…taking time out in between to eat…
just!!
We made a night of it having our tea in the restaurant with Jan
and Mike…the food was excellent, we will be definitely be dropping
by again.
All in all a good time was had by everyone.
Megan helped me to paint her bedroom today…I have to say
she did a good job she actually got it all on the walls this
time instead of the carpet.
She’s in a purple phase at the moment. The colours she picked
are a bit tooooo purple for me, but Meg loves it and that’s
all that matters.
Ah well, just the glossing to do…the bit everyone hates. I
think I’ll leave that for tomorrow, I’ve had enough for one
day.
Me and Meg went into Manchester today for a spot of retail
therapy. Megan’s highlight of the day was definitely the
train ride..ah well small things.
We managed to spend a fortune….and I stress the ‘we’, she
definitely takes after her Daddy.
We had a thoroughly exhausting but very enjoyable day.
Returned to the gym today while Steve and Megan went swimming.
I haven’t been for a couple of weeks with being ill, so I will
probably be paying for it over the next few days.
My baby lost her first tooth tonight…well actually I knocked it out
when I was brushing her teeth.
Surprisingly she is more curious about what the tooth fairy looks
like than how much she is going to get for her tooth.
CBBC reported today that Daniel Radcliffe has confirmed that he will
be playing Harry Potter in the fourth film, Goblet of Fire…both
Hermione and Ron have yet to confirm.
Hope so, it just wouldn’t be the same with new faces.
