Christmas Shopping

Posted by Kim in General at 8:03 pm | Permanent Link

We attempted to do some of our Christmas shopping via the internet today. We managed to find a few things…all on different sites of course. For the time spent it wasn’t a very successful venture, but it could have been worse, we could have spent the same amount of time walking round the shops at […]

Final Episode???

Posted by Kim in General at 10:26 pm | Permanent Link

Went to see this today, couldn’t wait til the weekend. I thought it was better than the second film. The special effects were if possible even better than in the previous films. The ending was excellent, and everything is now perfectly clear (if I understood it correctly!!) I hear there is talk of a fourth […]

Returned to the gym today while Steve and Megan went swimming. I haven’t been for a couple of weeks with being ill, so I will probably be paying for it over the next few days.

Dreaded Dentist

One of my fillings fell out a couple of weeks ago and I had to go back today to have it refilled. “What are you worried about?” says Hev (my sister-in-law and dental assistant) “its just a small filling, temporary out and new filling in, no problem”. Yeh…right. Turns out there was alot of decay […]

He Did It

44 days later David Blaine amazingly walked from his box on Sunday. He’s 4 stone lighter, and has experienced shooting pains, dizziness, nausea and irregular heartbeats, has been pelted with eggs, burgers and balloons filled with pink paint and golf balls. “This has been one of the most inspirational experiences of my life,” – what […]

Parking

Posted by Kim in General at 12:49 pm | Permanent Link

We had a letter from school last week telling us that there had been complaints regarding the car parking situation. Apparently half of the Council car park that we have to park in has been sold off to offices and they have complained that they can’t park in the mornings because parents aren’t vacating their […]

Boiler Again

Posted by Kim in General at 11:48 am | Permanent Link

I can’t get used to not hesitating before I turn on the hot tap. With the old boiler, the minute you turned on the hot water the heating went off for an indefinite amount of time. So you get into the habit of hovering with you hand over the tap….do I really need this or […]
